First-Generation Low-Income Student Support

You can make a gift to support Yale students who experience an emergency or unexpected financial hardship. You can support students directly in ways not covered by tuition, room and board, and financial aid. Yale students find this financial support at Yale Safety Net and Office of Career Strategy fellowships and travel reimbursement. Support includes: Emergency travel home and other unexpected needs; Winter clothing: coats, gloves, hats, and boots; Career Closet professional interview clothes; Yale College domestic summer awards to support non-profit and public service internships; Travel reimbursement for job interviews; On-going programming and new projects'
