Interested Employers

To kick off the 2026 internship hiring cycle, we’re excited to hold our inaugural in-person fair on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Yale Poorvu Center in New Haven. You're invited!

At the fair, you will get a chance to promote your organization, meet with interested students and get a head start on connecting about next summer's internship opportunities. Depending on your timeline, students would then apply through your posting on Yale's Career Link platform. This fair builds upon the success of Summer Bulldogs 2020-2024 in supporting access to career opportunities and funding resources for Yale's talented first generation and financial aid students.

Our 1st annual Summer Internship Fair brings top employers to Yale students for internships in 2026 in for-profit, government, universities, arts, education, and non-profit sectors world-wide.

The summer internship fair is open only to Yale students, especially those who are first generation and/or low-income students. Students drop in throughout the event to engage in conversations about opportunities at your organization, ask questions on how to apply, and much more. Students are encouraged to bring resumes to share with you.

Employers will receive information about how to post an internship application form on Yale's Career Link. Each employer representative receives a table with space to display your organization’s promotional items. We will send instructions on how to send materials ahead to registered employers two weeks before the event date.

Preference will be given to employers that best align with the goals and interests of Yale students. Space is limited.

Internship Pay Expectations: Our Summer Bulldogs interns will be paid by the organization or obtain external funding awards. They do not work without income. For eligible opportunities, eligible financial aid students can apply for the Yale Summer Experience Award (SEA), which provides financial support during their internship. SEA eligibility requires working at least 30 hours/week for 8 weeks (240 hours) over the summer months. An eligible opportunity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, including non-profit universities; government entity, including public universities; non-governmental organization (NGO); Arts Apprenticeship; or Science, Laboratory, or Other Research Opportunity.  For internships at opportunities not eligible for the SEA, competitive funding awards to interns may be available.

We look forward to seeing you in New Haven!

Register to hold a spot at the Summer Internship Fair by August 23rd at tinyurl.com/sb26fair.
