Alumni Perspectives: Navigating Yale & Beyond | FSY 2017

Working in partnership with the First-year Scholars Program in 2017, 1stGenYale brought about 35 alumni to campus to help first-gen students in the Class of 2021 navigate the landscape of Yale. During a panel presentation and informal mingling, alumni encouraged the newest members of the Yale community to embrace opportunities, both fun and challenging. Students expressed reassurance in knowing that they do not have to go it alone – that alumni will be reaching out to guide them on their journey.
