  • Dec 12, 2024
  • 1 min read

In Washington DC in December 2024, twelve Yale alumni helped KIPP high school seniors complete their FAFSAs, the forms for federal financial aid and loans. Their volunteerism helped raise the school's FAFSA completion percentage higher than the city's current average as reported by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education! The training and event were organized by Nancy Edwards '88 of the Yale Club of Washington DC and co-sponsored by 1stGenYale DC and the Yale Black Alumni Association.
