Announcing the launch of our new website - 1stgenyale.org!

At 12:22 p.m. Eastern Time today, August 14, 2025, 1stGenYale alumni volunteers published our finished custom-built website, based on the web map and draft site developed with the help of our Summer Bulldogs interns last summer, Lara Mohamed '27 and Karen Wang '26. All of the content and history from our original site were transferred, reorganized and freshened, most of it manually by Grace Kim '22, chief graphic designer, Barb Protacio '81, site admin, and Suzanne Solensky '83, blog historian. 

Thanks go to our entire website team, including Joanne Siu '90 who assisted Grace, Barb and Suzanne as we made our web host selection, and to John Boak '70 whose original site preserved and shared the story of 1stGenYale from its very beginnings in 2016 to today. Thanks, too, to Lise Chapman MBA '81, president, for her insights and support throughout.

Lise shared, "The new 'hands-on' website has been a labor of love (and challenges) over the last 22 months by these three incredible volunteers. Truly, a work of art, this new site gives us the ability to design and run our own content. A big thanks goes to all of them, and to John Boak whose website developed and grew as did 1stGenYale.
